steveru621 Posted June 17, 2013 #51 Share Posted June 17, 2013 It certainly is not an easy question to answer. The shows on the Allure require a reservation and don't always revolve around traditional dining times. We have always done late seating because we don't want to rush for dinner. MTD, so far, is not for us because on I'm on a cruise ship, on vacation, the fewer decisions, the less aggravation. Having been on the Allure, I strongly disagree with those that say you can just show up for MTD. That may be true if you go early or late, but it seems everyone wants to eat at 7PM. On more than one night we walked by the dining room around 7PM and the line for MTD was 60 feet long. That does not make MTD bad, you just need to recognize the Allure has twice as many people wanting to eat at 7PM. Whatever you decide, the Allure is a fantastic ship. Enjoy your cruise. WetToes Posted June 17, 2013 #52 Share Posted June 17, 2013 OP - Wouldn't it make sense to choose which was closest to your normal dining time? I know that your schedule will not be as it is at home, but no one can answer this question but you. ;) .
