Bora Bora Small Boat Charter?

Have any of you CC's ever chartered a small boat for "inside lagoon" light tackle fishing/snorkeling/motu hopping ect. on Bora Bora?

 

We would appreciate your suggestions and insight.

There are boats you can charter right off the dock just to the right in Vaitape. Just walk to the main road and you will see the building. You can also ask at the excursion desk and they will point you in the right direction.

Yes...in Feb'05...Ship was in Bora Bora for full day. We arrangedfor small boat w. captain for inside lagoon fish trolling. He met us pier side, took us all around the island .What a beautiful way to see BB. We trolled and caught [?] Blue jacks. I had found the name of the agency on the Bora Bora web page and arranged this all via email. I believe it was 'Moana Adventures'. I would strongly recommend

this option.

Thank you for the info! We googled Moana Adventures and came up with a nice 2 boat choice. Around $350+ for half a day. Not bad when you consider other excursions offered for 2 people.

I don't know what Moana is now offering but we were on a

small motorcraft [more than ample for 2] for under $200.

Either way, I anticipate that you'll love this manner of

enjoying BoraBora.
