Can someone who's taken the semi-sub excursion in Grand Turk tell me how hard it is to get from the 1st boat to the sub? and then to get up and down the steep ladder inside the sub? I am 52yo and overweight and just wondered if this excursion would be a problem for me. Thank you

Kinda hard to answer depends on how mobile and how large you are. The hatch is not real big and as you say stairs are steep. My wife has knee problems and was able to get down and back up the stairs. Hope this helps.

Yes saw a lot of fish and if the one in Gran Turk is like the rest of the ports that have this excursion, they have a diver that goes into the water and feeds the fish right outside the windows and of course the fish know what goes on when the sub shows up.

We just did this excursion in May. My husband and I are both very overweight and 60 years old. We had no problems getting onto the sub or going up/down the stairs. The crew is there to assist and are very helpful.

The semi-sub ride was very smooth and we did not bounce at all. Saw quite a few fish. It was an enjoyable excursion.
