Question about saving certificate.

I applied a savings certificate to my current booking in a grand suite. The certificate amount was the same for suites and balconies. If I were to downgrade to a balcony cabin in December before final payment is due, will that certificate follow me and take money off the balcony cabin since it's the same amount? Or would I have to downgrade before the coupon. Expires in September?

The savings certificate should stay with the booking even after you downgrade.
