What is going on with the Carnival site??

Is anyone else having an issue with the Carnival site?

 

I log in, it says my name, but the site says it can not find my booking.

I then enter in my booking and it says there is an error.

 

Is anyone else experiencing these issues today with the site?

I am having the same problem. It won't even let me do a mock booking it keeps telling me there are no cabins available.....ugh. Hopefully this will be fixed soon so I can access my booking without getting that error message.

I can't recall a time I have gone to the Carnival site and NOT had a problem.

Just did a mock booking. Also checked my booked cruise. No problem.

I finally convinced hubby to let me book a cruise for us before a big conference that he helps organize as a way to unwind ahead of time, because he always wears himself out trying to handle all the little details that others are supposed to be handling. I think they'll step up to the plate if he's not there offering to help. Anyways ....

 

This morning I have tried to get online to do my last due diligence before calling a pvp and my 1st choice which was a casino offer, isn't showing up at all. So I thought maybe we'd just let the time run out on that offer. So I went to another cruise that I'd been watching. After several oopsie that page is down screens, I finally get to the cruise itself and have clicked on 2different types of cabins only to get the message that there are none available..

 

I'm hoping that this just means that its a site glitch and that the casino rate that I really wanted is still out there somewhere.

I am getting told no cabins available on any cruise I try to book, at times isn't even allowing me a mock booking, etc..

 

They really need a better IT team. LOL

Yep, the site isn't working for me, either. I went to the Fare Viewer and it said there were no booking available for that class (or something like that). Went to make a payment and got the Oops screen.

I've been in the carnival site all morning no problems. Just added 30 dollars of obc to my account from price drops!

For days the only rates that come up are military and fun select...no past guest or florida resident rate which are available and you can see them in fare viewer. its annoying.

Had the same problem a while back...seems Carnival went to 8.0 and it is not compatible with everyone else's computer. So what they told me was to go to "Tools"....go to compatibility view and make sure Carnival is clicked. Once I did that I had no problems. Yes their IT department sucks.

You're right.

 

I had a price drop, and when they pulled it up it wasn't available. However, if you manuvered the booking a tad, it was.

So agree. I hate the site. If I am looking for a cruise...and trying to see what the cost is for different rooms (suites, balcony, inner) I get kicked out and have to put in the search dates and start all over!!!! Makes me crazy.

 

Seriously there has to be a better way to do this!!
