rrobynec Posted August 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2013 I was just on Cruise Compete, and I cannot find NCL any longer. I've been away from this forum for a while, so I may have missed the buzz, but couldn't find anything with the search tool either. Does anyone know why? time2cruise1 Posted August 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2013 All threads disappear since we are not allowed to discuss travel agencies. Simple answer several of the bidders violated NCL pricing rules.

SeaShark Posted August 20, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2013 I was just on Cruise Compete, and I cannot find NCL any longer. I've been away from this forum for a while, so I may have missed the buzz, but couldn't find anything with the search tool either. :confused:Does anyone know why? Actually, Cruise Compete is/was not a Travel Agent...they are just a web search/aggregator for cruise prices. As they did not have an official Travel Partner relationship with NCL, NCL has the right to prevent them from publishing NCL cruise pricing. You can still book thru any of the TAs that used their service, only Cruise Compete was affected by this decision.
rrobynec Posted August 20, 2013 Author #7 Share Posted August 20, 2013 Thanks for the news item link. Mystery solved! I guess I will have to go the old fashioned way of checking with several agencies for group bookings to see if I can get any OBC or other perks to sweeten the deal.;)
