Jade aft balcony

I thought that the rooms on deck 10 have bigger balconies than the other dcks but according to the NCL room description on their website, they're the same size as the balconies on deck 9.

 

Is that true?

It depends on the cabin type. The penthouse cabins are wider than the mini suite and the balcony cabins on the aft.

 

We had one on deck 8 and one of deck 10 aft before and the pure difference was the cabin type not the deck.

I seemed to remember that the balconies on deck 10 were deeper no matter what category of room.

 

We're usually in a penthouse but are travelling with friends so won't use the Cagney's benefit and have decided to just go with an aft balcony.

 

I may book deck 10 anyway and take a chance.

The aft-facing balconies on deck 10 are the deepest. If you are talking about standard balconies that run up and down the port and starboard sides from fore to aft, there is no difference in balcony size that I am aware of. The deck 10 difference only applies to cabins that face the wake.

This is a deck 10 aft balcony on the Jade. Definitely deeper than any other balcony.
