caribsun Posted August 31, 2013 #26 Share Posted August 31, 2013 And don't forget the Celebrity Summit. Our last two trips to Bermuda was on this ship. :)
golfadj Posted August 31, 2013 #27 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Surprised there are not more Bermuda cruises out of Nofolk or Baltimore. Would think there would be a good demand for them during warmer months
BattyL Posted August 31, 2013 #28 Share Posted August 31, 2013 If CCL and passengers where willing to do a 7day with a Wednesday departure, there would be room at the Dockyard. Would you sail leaving on a Wednesday ? :) Any day is fine with me :-)
careywv Posted August 31, 2013 #29 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Our first cruise ever was on RCCL to Bermuda and we loved it. We can't wait to go back. We will plan our next trip during the summer months though, as the water is still a bit chilly in May. It was great to explore the island and then use the cruise ship as your floating hotel of sorts. It's too bad that Carnival won't be sailing there as this is our cruise line of choice.
golfadj Posted August 31, 2013 #30 Share Posted August 31, 2013 If carnival thought it was a profitable itinerary they would find a way to get it back in a heartbeat.
UandMe4Ever Posted August 31, 2013 #31 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Try NCL or RCCl. if you really want to go to Bermuda. Try RCI for 7 night Bermuda as well. Great Ship the Explorer!
UandMe4Ever Posted August 31, 2013 #32 Share Posted August 31, 2013 And RCI (Grandeur OTS) out of Baltimore, as well.;) 6- and 7-day sailings, I believe. 7 day on the Explorer (RCCI) out of Bayonne, NJ
idlenote Posted August 31, 2013 #33 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Did notice that when we were there in April on the Legend they were building another dock next to the present one. Maybe that's what Carnival is waiting for?
