Alaska Cruise- Now or October sale event?

Both.....book now and get the room you want. If the october sale has a better price, call back and ask to be repriced to the sale prices. ;)

As in almost everytime this comes up - this is the perfect answer. (airlines are of course different with their non refundable deals)

I read that the big October sale is usually only for new bookings

Anytime before final payment, you can cancel your reservation. Because of this, it is easier for the NCL reps to just go in and change your price. There's a few that won't do it, but you just call back and talk to someone else.

I booked our Alaska cruise a year and a half out. I've repriced multiple times. Even got the spring cruise week special. Upgraded rooms twice as well.

We always book early and when another sale comes along recheck our price and amenties offered. Make sure you check to see what the change fee will cost - our TA just went up to $50 a person. You have to consider everything when bargain shopping.
