A week to drive from Sydney to Sydney.

I dont drive east as I am from Perth:D

 

But google maps drive times are very un realistic for some Australian conditions i think.

 

Get stuck behind a few roadtrains or caravans and you can kiss the diving calculations goodbye, break the speed limit and pay up big time.

 

My brother drove a truck picking up hire cars in Monkey mia and returning them to perth with many overseas drivers opting for a coach trip back to Perth:D:D:D and Monkey Mia is only about 850 Km,s away.

 

All looks easy on a map and you cant do 80 mph plus like you can get away with on some USA open highways.

Like I said before, unless you really love driving, it can get boring quickly and only the passenger gets to see the country wizz by as the driver is too busy driving form point to point.:D
