Avril Posted September 17, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Moving to dry dock. What? For how long? My cruise is at the end of November/beginning of December and I booked it specifically because it's the Imagination (the 1st ship I sailed on and can't wait to sail her again)!!!! :D When will she be out of dry dock? cathyz Posted September 17, 2013 #11 Share Posted September 17, 2013 What is she getting in the drydock? There has been no word on any major changes. Carnival does dry docks every 3 years or so to scrape and paint the bottom of the hull, inspect the propellers, etc. But they also take that time to make inside changes such as new carpet, big painting, kitchen upgrades, etc. There will probably not much to notice, just the usual doctor's visit for the ship.
