Do we need a car rental?

After cruise, we'll stay 3 nights at Sheraton Suites Plantation. We'll go to Sawgrass Mills Mall for maybe two days and rest of the time, we just want to relax at the hotel and walk around doing nothing, but of course will have new year's eve dinner. In this case, do you think we need to rent a car or we are fine to grab a taxi easily from the port to the hotel and from hotel to the mall and air port?

If you only take taxis for the trips you describe, it will cost you about $130 plus tip. It might make sense to rent a car and be able to get around more conveniently.

I definitely say to go with the car rental. There is a budget car rental location right at the entrance to the port. It would definitely be cheaper to rent a car instead of relying on taxis
