irishgal432 Posted September 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2013 Hopefully I can get an answer from those all knowing on the board. My friend who has never cruised is turning 50 this year. She wants my husband and I with her and her husband to do a quick weekend get away. I am looking at the Enchantment on November 1st. The prices just dropped today, and if I book after September 23rd, it looks as if there will be a Royal Shipboard OBC. So, I was looking at a JS which is 499 pp The ROyal OBC looks to be $50. (My platinum discount is only $25,and I don't think it is combineable, but correct me if I am wrong) I was hoping to get a friends and family $25 credit since they have not sailed before. If I transfer to my TA, the OBC is $70.00 Will I get to keep the Royal OBC if I book with them and then transfer? And also will I get the friends and family OBC? Thanks! Clarea Posted September 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2013 You should be able to get the OBC from Royal's 9/23 promo and the OBC from the TA. I doubt that any other Royal perks could be added.
cruisenfever Posted September 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2013 If you were converting a NC you would be able to combine your balcony discount, OBC from NC booking, and the $25 OBC from Bring A Friend plus any OBC from your TA. Otherwise, as Bob has said, the only thing you would get is the OBC from your TA and the OBC from RCI for the Promo.
Ken at the beach Posted September 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2013 If the price is a good one today then I would book it now and not wait for the sale from RCI. RCI has a habit of raising the prices to offset the corresponding promo. $499 for a JS sounds like a good deal.
