PC Dining Rooms on Caribbean Princess

Which dining rooms are PC on Caribbean Princess? Is one less crowded then the other? On the Star Princess I like the Capri better because I think most people stop on deck 6 instead of 5 making it less crowded with shorter wait times during the peak hours.

The Palm and the Coral are the PC dining rooms on the Caribbean Princess. The Palm is all the way aft and can only be reached from the aft elevators. For that reason, we found it less crowded. We never made a reservation and only had to wait about 5 minutes one time. The rest of the time we were seated right away. We found two waiters we really liked (Marius and Cornel) so we requested a table with them each night when we went to the Palm. We had them every night but two.

Hope that helps! :)

I too found that the Palm dinning room was less crowed than the Capri. Not only is it only accessible by the aft stairs or elevators but it also has a greater capacity. We never had to wait to get a table for 4 or 6.

New to Princess and anytime dining, how does it work? Read about people making reservations, do you have to have a reservation each night? Any problems with waiting, esp. for a table for 2. Any info greatly appreciated, alittle confused about the whole thing.

The Palm dining room is way less crowded. Some folks can't find the area.

Anytime dining is just like land based restaurants. You can make a reservation if you like but don't have to. Last year on the CB we always had a table for two without reservations between the hours of 6:45 and 8:00 and had to wait one night about 5 minutes. Our most recent cruise was a table for five but this time we did make a reservation every night for 7:00 pm because we had a 3yr old with us and really liked our waiters. The two formal nights are a bit more crowded and you may experience a short wait. It is mostly larger groups that wait longer.

We heard the maitre'd telling parties of two (who wanted to sit alone) that they would have to wait awhile in the Coral Dining Room because it has fewer tables for two. He sent them down to the Palm Dining Room where there were more tables for two.

This info might be helpful to some readers.
