Magic

Last time I cruised the Magic (April), we got that same email. We went early anyway, like we always do. There was no delay. :)

I've been on many sailings from Galveston and other than weather related delays embarkation has started as usual between 11ish and noon.

Even when the email is sent out, it's not sent to everybody and on each occasion that I've received it there has not been any delay.

Has anyone been notified of delay in boarding this coming Sunday due to a routine quarterly immigration inspection at Galveston?

We got the same notice when we cruised back in June, we arrived at 11 just like normal, and had 0 delay. I think it is a preemptive thing due to the fact that occasionally, customs may take a bit more time when the ship comes in from Belize. Not sure why, but just what I have heard.
