Venice cruise departure at 11.00 pm - what time is boarding?

We have just booked on a 5 June, 2014, Mediterranean Romance cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam leaving from Venice, which departs at 11.00 pm. Does anyone know what time boarding would be? Sure hope it's around midday. Any information would be appreciated.

As this is a cruise line policy question, the best place to ask would be on the HAL board. However, the answer is: the fleetwide boarding policy for HAL is 11:30 for boarding to start.

Adding to the OP's question about Venice ... does anyone know what time the safety briefing (lifeboat drill) will occur. Since the ship doesn't depart until 11pm, DW and I would like to check in early (ie before Noon) and then spend the rest of the day in Venice. I'm guessing the safety briefing is around 3-4pm which will affect our touring time. It would sure be great if it was later in the day. Thanks.
