Big2Little4me Posted October 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2013 I am a huge tea drinker. My friend and I always try to bring tea from wherever we go on vacation. Hopefully something local. Is there anyplace in Freeport or Nassau that I can purchase local tea?

Is there anyplace in Freeport or Nassau that I can purchase local tea? The Bahamas doesn't grow or manufacture tea, so there is no local tea. We import from many places and have most of the same brands you will see back at home. We do have some nice british teas, available in any supermarket. I don't know about loose-leaf tea, but Pure Caribbean in Nassau sells teas, spices, and condiments from producers throughout the Caribbean. https://www.facebook.com/PureCaribbean You and your friend should be able to find something there.
