Web site issue - Residency Discounts

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering if it's just me. I have the URL's for my booked cruises saved. I use those to quickly see if I have any price drops. The answer is usually NO, but, hey, I'm a Cubs fan, all I have is hope.

Ever since the update to the website this weekend, this has not worked. I decided to look into it today, and it appears they changed the cruise codes. No biggie there, I can update my links.

What is a problem though is that if you list your state, and there is no residency discount for your state, you will get no pricing at all for your state. For example, try this...

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/cruiseDetails/itineraryAndPricing.do?packageCode=EX10Y009&date=201312&selectedCurrencyCode=USD

Now try it with a state selected:

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/cruiseDetails/itineraryAndPricing.do?packageCode=EX10Y009&date=201312&selectedCurrencyCode=USD&state=IL

Does anyone know a way around this?
