I have only ever use a regular credit card before. Your answers would be appreciated.regards zanny:) I have also only used regular credit cards but have read over the years that the cruise company hold amount on the Debit card can have you waiting for your own funds to be available. Not a problem if you have other funds but with so many relying on Debit card balance for post cruise payments I personally wouldnt go down that path:)
Rare Kinkacruiser Posted November 9, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) I use a visa debit card all the time on Princess cruises but always have it in credit before we leave (to the tune of what we expect our ship account to come in at). The visa debit I have has a no interest free period and no added charges. Edited November 9, 2013 by Kinkacruiser

Debit cards are for those who cant get Credit Cards or cant trust themselves with Credit:) Not really the case for some, some debit cards have some good terms and also attract less fees , as it is not using credit.:D
