just returned from above cruise which was wonderful. at every port we didn't need our passports but when we went on a trip to saville at the cathedral had we had our passports it is free entry to pensioners at cadiz we took our passports off and went to the alkazar and for british pensions was only 1.20 euros for 2 pensioners. lots to see and well worth a visit, we showed our passport to the entrance guide and he said put your money in and he pressed the correct discount button for us as Spanish citizens have an id card which they put into the machine. moral of the tale take your passport otherwise you might miss out on discounts. also if you take the ride on the old lift in Lisbon 5 euros on the back of the ticket is a 25% discount on the open top bus. hope the above helps anyone visiting these ports. we also did Casablanca highlights and was one of the best tours we had done. our lady guide was excellent and the tour to the mosque very interesting.

Hi Smokin Tiger and welcome to Cruise Critic. Perhaps you would like to also post on the ports section of the site as this doesn't just apply to P&O passengers and would be useful for everyone to see.

Thanks

hi we did get to see elvis and also a ventriloquist who was a runner up to susan boyle he was fantastic and his wife is a ventriloquist too the theatre gave him a standing ovation. weather was good sunbathed in Malaga and Lisbon Gibraltar it started to rain at the sailaway and they had planned the biggest sailaway picture but had to abandon to the crows nest. found the captain brilliant we should have changed our clocks twice but to save on tiredness we changed on first day and then at Casablanca kept our time the same so was another hour different from Casablanca but was told to ignore our phones if we were doing our own thing and not to ask locals the time. it worked perfectly and no one was late back at any of the ports.

We were also on this cruise.

Fantastic ship. The spaces on Oriana are really well put together and the entire crew were outstanding in every respect.

Usual mix of P&O Entertainment. All very good. Gareth Oliver is an outstanding Entertainer. Headliners were OK - We have seen most of the shows before. Didn't see the Elvis Show.

All of the ports were more than worthy of a Visit. Really enjoyed our Highlights tour in Casablanca (Which we also found very good). Did our own thing in the other ports.

The Street Sellers, Beggers and Drug dealers in Lisbon got a tad tiresome after a while. We Couldn't even sit down for a Coffee without getting hassled !

Took a Taxi Tour to the Caves, apes and Tunnels in Gib. Taxi Dropped us off in the High St. for shopping.

We had a great time and have come home relaxed, chilled and refreshed.
