AOS Southern Carib.; how fast off ship in port?

Hi:

 

We're booked for a southern Caribbean itinerary with port stops pretty much 8 a.m. at every port. I want to engage in 2 privately booked excursions (not through the ship) departing from either the pier or very near it in St. Lucia and St. Croix, both needing me there by 9:30 a.m.

 

I'm a Platinum member, not diamond, and we're staying in an interior stateroom, so I don't think any perks will play into this.

 

So, any idea how fast it's practical to be off the ship and on the pier?

They will usually be able to start letting people off the ship within 30 minutes of arrival.

We just returned from the AOS and visited both those ports. We took a ship excursion in both ports that met on the pier at 8:30 and were off the ship by 8:15 or so. I woke up around 6:30-7am each morning and we always seemed to be docked earlier than the 8am time our itinerary said.

Thanks, guys. I know cruise excursion people get priority, but that is reassuring.

When you're docked, you simply walk off when the open the doors! It's not like tendering, where early ship excursions get preference.
