Negative Reviews

Recommended Posts

I read the reviews, particularly if I can find a specific cabin we are considering. At the same time, I think we are now experienced enough to evaluate complaints to know if the particular issue discussed (a) a valid complaint against the ship and crew, and (b) whether a complaint is likely to apply to us.

I also realize that, as someone above said, two passengers from the same cruise could have a completely different experience. For example, our worst cruise [in my opinion] from a service point of view, was aboard Jewel. My complaints were largely about MDR service and certain service issues in the Schooner Bar. Someone with a different s wait team or someone who did not encounter the same server in the bar may have had a completely different impression of that cruise. Even so, that cruise remains in my top tier of favorites because of where we went and the good friends we were with.

To repeat the obvious -- a bad day on a cruise beats a great day at work.
