NCL Breakaway vs. Carnival Pride (March)

DH and I are looking into the 7 days to the Bahamas out of Baltimore/NYC for March 9.

Any thoughts on which one? I've been reading the reviews here on CC and they both seem to have mixed reviews.

It's going to be spring break time (unfortunately this is the only time we can go), is there one that would be less "crazy" than the other? We're in our 30's, and aren't much partiers. We've done RCCL cruises out of Florida around this time, and never found the crowd to be too rowdy. Are the atmospheres on NCL/Carnival very different? (Or is that just stereotypes?)

Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Atmosphere will be similar with NCL being a little more subdued. Given that it will be spring break they will be on both ships. Breakaway is a much newer ship with lots of bells and whistles. Given the choice I think I would go with NCL.

I cruised on the Pride last March during Spring break (March 17-25) and was very surprised how calm the cruise was. Very few spring breakers onboard, although there were a few. The few that were onboard were very well behaved. It was a very relaxing cruise.

Thanks everyone for your input! DH also checked out some Youtube videos of the 2 ships and he seems to like the new ship. So I contacted our TA, and am in the process of booking the Breakaway. Looking forward to it! :)
