Awesome sauce!! I feel your excitement! So ready to escape the cold, snowy winter weather here in the Midwest.

 

We will be on the RCCL Indy in 8 days, 9 hours, 25 minutes and 31 seconds (okay, 30 seconds)...and then back on the Epic in 359 days, 9 hours...Yep, not counting for either of those! ;-)

 

Hmm...guess I should start packing for the Indy cruise one of these days. We fly out a week from today!

My wife and I have been on the Gem 3 times, once on the Star, and most recently on the Breakaway. Not sure why, but I love the Gem. Maybe it's because it was the first cruise ship I have been on, so it holds a sentimental value. Or maybe it's because it's the perfect sized ship, just enough activities where you are not bored, and fabulous restaurants and bars. I felt overwhelmed at times on the Breakaway because of its' size. So much walking.

Or maybe it's because there isn't much to choose from when cruising out of NY City.

We are on the same cruise woodburyk. I like my countdown better though, mine is 15 days and 23 hours....
