Question re:buying casino credits

Hi,

I phoned Celebrity today but they didnt know how this works and said I had to wait until Monday to talk to someone at the Blue Chip Club. You are able to buy casino credits online in $25USD increments for $27.20 CAD. I figure this will save us money as conversion including 5per cent casino charge is 1.088. I just converted can to us yesterday at our bank at 1.14. My question is what happens if you don't use all that you purchase. How do you get the prepaid credits? Are they just vouchers delivered to your room? Anything else I should be aware of?.

With the casino credits, they will give you cash at the cage. Celebrity does not load the credits onto your room key card, as Princess does. As I recall, it spits out a ticket and you can cash that in, again at the cage. Don't play tables so don't know exactly how that works but I imagine it is the same.
