Can you buy the Cheers program before sailing

I hate to ask another cheers program question but am unable to get an answer when I do a search. Can you purchase the cheers program before you sail. We are sailing in March 2014. Any info would be great. Again sorry for another Cheers Program question.

Cheers is only available onboard.

 

If you are looking to prepay a bit, you can buy bar cash on the gifts and services portion of the website and it can be applied toward Cheers.

You can purchase it as soon as you board. Any of the bars that are open on embarkation should have the sign up info and can take care of it for you right there.

With the exception of cruises out of Texas. Due to liquor laws you cannot purchase until the second day of the cruise when sailing out of Texas.

I tried 2 bars upon boarding Sunshine and could not purchase Cheers at the bars. They told me I had to go to the lobby area. They had a table set up near the information desk to purchase Cheers. So I think it varies from ship to ship where you can purchase Cheers. But Cheers is only available onboard, and cannot be purchased prior to boarding.
