Piano bar is a great idea! After those few drinks, I'll be singing for sure. Lol And good to hear that others go there by themselves. Thanks for the great ideas!

I cruised with my 10YO daughter last summer. A couple of nights when she was in Camp Carnival, I went to the piano bar. It was SO MUCH FUN!

This made me lol! He's reasonable with his card playing. And the "m" word hasn't even been mentioned between the two of us. Haha

Great, I didn't mean to be rude! Have fun on your cruise, teacher! Tell that boy to pay less attention to tumbling dice and more attention to the front of the class! :D

My boyfriend and I are taking a cruise in June aboard the Dream and I'm looking for activity ideas. He is a gambler and spends hours at the tables. I don't mind hanging out in the casino with him some, but I got bored on the last cruise doing this. I lounged and read and caught a couple shows, but was hoping for some other suggestions. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Try the slot tournament. It costs $25 and requires no gambling knowledge. Just go to the casino cashier and purchase an entry. They have it on a sea day and it will show in the Fun Times. It's lots of fun.

You could try bingo. Times show in the Fun Times.

Go to the spa and get a massage. Watch for specials on the flyers left in your cabin.

Go hang out in the hot tub. It's easy to strike up a conversation with others there. You can meet some really nice people. If it's too hot in the daytime, try it in the evening.

Try the sea day brunch and ask to be seated at a big table with others. It's fun to meet people from around the country. You can strike up a conversation about cruising.

I hope you have a great cruise!

You weren't rude at all. I cracked up! And that's right about front if the class or he's gonna lose recess! Bahaha

I wish I could hit a "like" button for these posts and ideas! I think I'm going to be like, "Uh. Yeah. Why don't you go play cards more. I've got things to do like spa-ing, bingo-ing, trivia, slot tourney-ing, singing with the piano bar guy, and MUCH more I have to do." Hehe. ;-)

If you enjoy music, (and who doesn't?) hit the Ocean Plaza and enjoy the great sounds of the Blackjack Band! You won't find a more entertaining group anywhere, ship or land! They're GREAT

Hit Karaoke, or the Piano Bar. They also have Superstar Karaoke where you get to sing with a live band! What could be better? Anyway, you'll make lots of new friends doing these activities. Also, you might make your boyfriend jealous. I sing karaoke all the time, and many, many times ladies will walk up to me and say, "WOW, YOU WERE GREAT LAST NIGHT". My wife will just look at me and say, "GREAT at WHAT?"

What a wonderful time we have aboard Carnival ships!
