All very different. Sydney is the largest natural harbour in the world and second is Plymouth which is stunning viewed from the sea.

Ohhhhh..... you're challenging a widely held view from round here that Poole takes second place after Sydney! Not that it's worth getting fussed about - both absolutely beautiful and very under-rated imo. Yes Sydney is somewhere I'd love see......hopefully sometime. :)

Is Game of Thrones filmed in Dubrovnik or is there a place there called Kings Landing?

Don't worry loads claim it!! Cork, Halifax, Rio....etc But Sydney is beautiful from the harbour and Plymouth is just such a surprise with its beauty from the water

Venice - absolutely magical sail-in and sailaway

Sydney - so much to see and do.

Auckland - well, its the City of Sails, say no more

Lisbon - very tourist friendly and easy to get around

Barcelona - ditto, loved it

 

We're off to Scandinavia and Russia next; sounds great from the comments here. :D

Santander-I know Thomson don't go there often but its easy to get on the HO-HO bus and it takes you right out to the lovely Summer palace, beautiful sea views, lovely beaches and a tiny zoo with seals & sea lions.

Not really a fan of cities, even though I live in one :rolleyes: but one of our favourite cruises was Baltic Capitals on Jewel of the Seas. Stockholm, Copenhagen, Talinn, Oslo and St Petersburg were wonderful, not so keen on Helsinki.

 

Well that's five, but also like Barcelona, Dubrovnik, Venice and Split (Is Split a city?)

 

Going round Britain we liked Belfast and Glasgow
