Jacksonville Parking

Any suggestions for parking at the Jacksonville Port?

 

This is our first time leaving from Jacksonville, so we're not sure where to park.

 

We are taking Carnival Fascination.

This is about the only port we prefer to park at the port. Most everything in the way of parking seems to be around the airport which is 10 miles away.

There has been an on again off again off site lot near the road leading to the port. Last month it was locked and closed when I went by. Port parking is right next door, to the pier, its an open area not a garage and is 15.00 per day. They have it set up you can drive up to luggage drop and then go park and vice versus when you return. You pay when you arrive for the entire trip.

There are several lots with shuttle near the airport as the previous poster mentioned, most are about 6-7 dollars a day.
