Yes, it is cheaper.

No, it is not.

 

Point being there are many,many variables. Supply and demand can move teh price of each item up and down often. Sometimes a good deal, sometimes not.

 

My personal opinion is that it generally will cost more. Again, on a personal note, I avoid the big packages as they take me out of control, and add in various levels of middlemen that can screw things up, or shift the blame.

 

Only way to know is to price them out.
