October deals gone?

Wass getting ready to book on the Divinia for one of the October deals. The prices almost doubled since yesterday. Bad luck for me. I'll probably have to go on another line.

Sign up for their emails for specials. They may be back. They work diff. than other cruise lines. I booked yesterday for Sept. Now everything is gone. I couldn't get the lowest price, but still did well.

Next week there will be a new special, and the week after that. Whether it is the exact same, who knows.

The ship is sailing whether it is full or half full, even if MSC breaks even on their cabin prices they will make up for it through the add ons- excursions, casino, drink packages, specialty dining etc. Some people have the mentality that I saved x amount on my trip, therefore I have more money to spend once on board.

You can always put your deposit down for your cabin, and if the price drops before final payment get your TA to call in for a price adjustment. I do it all the time for my clients. It pays to book early and lock in the lowest category pricing, and your price will never go up. It will only stay the same or go down.

I do not think they will do as low as those prices for 199 inside and 499 balcony! I do think that insides will go as low as 399 so they are still lower priced. The experience on MSC is worth the higher pricing! MSC is an experience to really enjoy!

Sept-Oct

Some new Prices are up for Sept-Oct. Inside $254 and up, Balcony $514 and up.

We're trying to plan a wedding/honeymoon. With all of that going on it is difficult to nail down a date. But I think we're getting close.

Thanks for your helpful response.

Thanks Raoul!

Now I just have to get my bride-to-be to sign off on the trip.

You are welcome, with all of the help I have received from this board (admittedly with some winnowing of chaff as you have found out too lol) I am trying to pay it forward.

As for the "sign off", you are doubly wise (in starting off with a beautiful yet affordable honeymoon and most importantly knowing who the decision maker is lol). All joking aside, before you book make sure they are still honoring the "employee" pricing for October. Right now the MSC site says select April and May departures, but based on what I have read on this board, that site has a lot of problems.

Cheers! Raoul
