Seconds in the main dining room?

Silly question, but do you order your seconds up front or wait until you have finished the first serving? On one of my cruises yeas ago my waiter seemed irritated when I ordered a second chilled soup later in the meal? I feel greedy when I order two things up front. Does Celebrity have specific rules around this?

We have been told that it is easiest for the waiters if you order all the dishes in the same category that you want at the same time.

That way they can pick up all the entrees, for example, from the galley while they are there and it saves them from needing to go make an extra trip later to get your second choice.

On the other hand, there have been times when we ordered multiple appetizers or entrees and were served one first and another later.

But they may have brought them all up from the galley at the same time and kept the extras in the service area until there was room for them on the table.

My suggestion is just to ask your own waiters how they prefer to do it.
