Grand Princess Cabin A742

Has anybody been a recent occupant of A742 (or A743 for that matter) on the Grand?

Reviews seem to sparse and/or old.

Would you book this cabin again? It looks like a good location to me, but my much better half is concerned about movement and noise.

Any feedback greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

That will be a "porthole" cabin. Never been in one but I can tell you my wife would absolutely love that location as it's next to her favorite hang out place at the aft pool.

Hello! Did you end up staying in A742 on Grand Princess? Any feedback - good, bad, or indifferent? Many thanks in advance!

Doubt CaptKlutz will reply ... that cruise was 9 years ago and their last post was over 6 years ago.

A742/743 are at the end of the passage way aft...balcony.

This is a REALLY old thread.

Yep. I noticed that and almost didn't reply but decided to give the guy a break and answer.

Thanks C8tiv1 & Thrak for the messages! I know from the Princess diagrams where the cabin is located. I was moreso looking for a personal experience with this particular cabin. It’s ok if he doesn’t reply, I figured it was worth a shot. Have a wonderful weekend. 😎

I have stayed in an inside (across) on a different Grand Class ship. Love the location.  8 steps up to aft” patio” and a flight up to lido. Quiet and smooth.

A little more confusing getting to Piazza if using aft elevators.
