Ice machines

Are there places you can get ice on Navigator of the Seas without bothering room service or room steward? Have heard that fridges don't keep stuff very cool and wife likes diet coke first thing in morning and we plan on bringing a six pack. Would ice it down in bucket prior to bed.:)

No guest accessible ice except for Windjammer (when it's open) and the Freestyle Coke machines.

I bring a soft sided six-pack thermo cooler. I ask the room steward to fill it with ice every morning. I keep it in the shower because it "sweats." Also, when he does the morning service, he will see it there (if he is doing his job correctly) to remind him. The ice will last all day.

 

I bring an empty rum runner (empty water bottle also works) and fill it with my white wine and put it on the bottom to be covered by ice so it will be nice and chilled.

Yes...your cabin attendant! Just ask! Tell them you need ice morning and night!
