Making up for a lost port

Having missed our port stop in Puntarenas last December..due to a sick passenger and high seas....we are making a land trip to Costa Rica to make up for it. Needless to say, this will more than make up for the one day we missed. We really wanted to see Costa Rica..it just looks and sounds beautiful and lush and exciting. Anyway we are going to stay 9 days on the coast at a beautiful hotel. Oh, we decided not to take a cruise this year..We will see how that goes! This sounds like roughing it to me...

Costa Rica is beautiful. You will be able to do alot of exploring staying on the island. Enjoy :)

In fact, it'll be even better than that because Costa Rica is not an island, but quite a big country.
