Best/most inexpensive way to get from Miami airport to South Beach

We are staying at the Beacon Hotel on South Beach later this month the night before our cruise. If the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle, what options do I have for transportation from the airport to the hotel and how much will it cost me?

From MIA you can catch the Airport Flyer bus to South Beach fro about $2.35 each; I would call your hotel and ask which stop on this bus route is closest to your hotel.

 

Otherwise from MIA you are looking at a $32+ taxi fare to South Beach.
