Does kids' club coordinate with dinner?

Hi. Recently booked on the N.Jewel. (I'll update my sig sometime before we go. :) )

So, on Carnival (our first cruise last fall), their kids' club features an arrangement where at around 5:00pm (or was it 6:00?), you can drop off your children at one of the dining venues for a kid-friendly dinner, and the caregivers will escort them back to the club for the evening's activities, allowing the parents time to get ready for an evening in the MDR (or wherever). We found this feature quite convenient.

RCI has something similar, apparently, in that the MDR can serve the children's courses quickly, and then the club caregivers will show up at the MDR and take the children back to the club, allowing parents to enjoy the rest of their dinner away from the kids.

I do not notice anything on NCL indicating that Splash Academy does something similar. However, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. ;) So, does NCL do anything like this?

It's not a deal-breaker, of course. Just something that we'd like to know one way or another so we can plan accordingly.

Thanks!

Nope. Splash Academy is closed from 5-7. Depending on how full your sailing is there might be quite a line to drop off at 7. We made our reservations for 7:30 (we ate in all specialty rest this trip).

On at least 1 previous sailing when there are a high number of kids on board they may offer a "kids dinner" in the buffet 1 night. I did not see this offered on our trip last month though.

not routinely- on most cruises there has been a night where there was an option for the kids to have dinner, or go to a show, with the kids club, but that was varied, and not nightly. The nice thing about the "freestyle" concept though is that it is very easy to take your kid(s) to the buffet (or even main dining room, or Blue Lagoon) and feed them dinner (maybe you get an app or a drink), then take them to the kids club and enjoy "dinner for 2" at any of the restaurants (including Main Dining Room since there aren't any set dining times). We did this a number of times- probably half the time we had "dinner as a family" and the other half the kids ate first, then headed to the kids club. They preferred the quick buffet to sitting through a long meal anyhow.
