JimAOk1945 Posted March 19, 2014 #26 Share Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) If you're thinking about doing an excursion that sounds like a "long day" such as going to the Tulum Mayan ruins which is an option at the Cozumel port call, I suggest booking through the cruise line just to make sure the ship waits for you to come back. Better safe than sorry! Happy Cruising! Edited March 19, 2014 by JimAOk1945
wwcruisers Posted March 19, 2014 #27 Share Posted March 19, 2014 Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but getting involved in your roll-call is another great way to organize shore excursions!
cb at sea Posted March 19, 2014 #28 Share Posted March 19, 2014 The 1st thing to do is read a guidebook...then decide what interests you. Once you decide that, you can determine HOW to do that thing! We almost never do any excursions at all....we research our ports, and go on our own!
mzloolue Posted March 20, 2014 #29 Share Posted March 20, 2014 We spent about 1000 for 4 shore excursions for 5 people which I think is a lot? A thousand dollars is a lot of money. But as for too much for what you are getting it kind of depends on what the excursions are. Four excursions for 5 people would be 20 excursions, right?
