no very good at arranging shore activities..

If you're thinking about doing an excursion that sounds like a "long day" such as going to the Tulum Mayan ruins which is an option at the Cozumel port call, I suggest booking through the cruise line just to make sure the ship waits for you to come back.

 

Better safe than sorry!

The 1st thing to do is read a guidebook...then decide what interests you. Once you decide that, you can determine HOW to do that thing! We almost never do any excursions at all....we research our ports, and go on our own!

We spent about 1000 for 4 shore excursions for 5 people which I think is a lot?

 

A thousand dollars is a lot of money.

 

But as for too much for what you are getting it kind of depends on what the excursions are.

 

Four excursions for 5 people would be 20 excursions, right?
