Can you still use C&A BOGO drink coupon when you have package?

So, we have one person in our group who will not have the drink package on our upcoming cruise. Is it still possible to use the C&A coupon on our seapass card for BOGO beer or wine if we already have the package? Thinking about buying 2 drinks for the other person at once and getting one free. Is that still doable?

Yes I have done that,. The drink package states it's for individual consumption, the BOGO does not.

We used them the first night. We did not buy the package until the next morning (Guest Relations did an adjustment for us so our morning coffee ended up being included in the package--can only buy it at a bar and the bar didn't open until 9 a.m.)
