Best port to Kayak- Please Help

We are an outdoor active family wanting to kayak while on our New England/Canada Cruise. We are sailing on the Legend of the Seas Sept 23,2014. We have several ports of call on this cruise and would like to kayak. We are looking for suggestions as to which port would be best. I love scenery, rock formations and wildlife.
