2xprincess Posted March 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Husband , 16 y/o 12 y/o daughters and I will be in Cozumel in July. Trying to plan a beach day - husband needs shade - umbrella, palapa or cabana. Which beach or AI is best for us? Hoping to spend most of the day there - ship is in port from 9 - 5. caribsun Posted March 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) I went to paradise beach club and sat in the shade all day. As you walk in there will be shade poolside on your left or continue to the beach and plenty of chairs under the palms. muffie1994 Posted March 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2014 We went to Nachi Cocum last year. We had a family of 5 with 2 teens and an 8 year old. We loved it. It was very relaxed, and we didn't have to worry about lunch or drinks.
JohninDC Posted March 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Unless you want the sun or insist on being in the row of chairs/loungers closest to the water or pool you will not have trouble finding shade at any of the beach clubs. Make your choice on the amenities they offer that meet the needs of your family - with a 16 & 12 year old I would focus on Paradise Beach (non-all inclusive) or Mr. Sanchos (all-inclusive).
