lol~ Nice try~ a rum and pepsi with lime is still a cuba libre~

I am not a bartender and was under the (evidently mistaken) belief that a Cuba Libre was made with Coke. That's the only way that I will drink it;).

For some people it's either Coke or Pepsi~ but never both!! lol~ A Cuba Libre is cola (coke or pepsi) rum with a slice of lime~

To OP: Virgin drinks aren't that much cheaper than alcohol ones so they are a lot more expensive than fountain drinks. If I remember correctly, a strawberry daiquiri without alcohol was like $2 cheaper (~$7 vs ~$5) than the alcohol one.

I will drink Coke if it has rum in it and I will drink Pepsi without rum and I will drink Coke by itself if Pepsi is not available. It may be one of those "try it, you might like it" things but I've never (knowingly) had a rum and Pepsi. When we are on the Gem if we run out of the Coke we bring for our BV rum I may end up trying it.:)
