Is the coffee that bad?

I know I know it's subjective....I love coffee though lol and I am a bit nervous (ok dramatic but you know)

So are we talking like truck stop burned undrinkable? Too dark? Too light?

And part 2 on the gem balcony room I will have a little pot? Like I can bring my own coffee?

Thanks:)

I Find truck stop coffee to be usually just plain week and lacking any flavor. (see my screen name) that is why I bring my own coffee pot and brew my own each mining.

sorry back to your topic. :D

Reference point on my opinion: I drink medium roast specialty grade coffee most days from small roasters (think Stumptown, only smaller). But I also think Starbucks dark roast is good in its own way and have zero complaints about drinking it.

The ship's coffee that's available in the buffet is akin to Folgers/Maxwell House. Not good, and really not worthy of enjoying IF you aren't used to it. For whatever reason, the MDR coffee is slightly better, but not great. It will suffice with dessert. The coffee bar in the atrium the best option in the morning. It's become necessary for me. I just grab juice with my breakfast and enjoy a good cup of coffee after breakfast.

I tried brining Starbucks instant to breakfast on (which I consider ok) one cruise, but I kept forgetting to bring it from the room.
