RCCL ship snorkel excursion, good deal ?

We have been doing all independent tours for a while, but for our November Navigator cruise I booked the ship snorkel 2 reef deal with open bar on return for $39 PP...Seems like a decent deal. Any opinions ?

Have not done it but that seems like a fair price. My only concern would be how many on the tour -- snorkeling with 100+ others (many of them beginners) can be a bit "frustrating" at times. :o

That is exactly what I am concerned about as well. You know they like to cram em full.

I'd recommend Eagle Ray. They have a 2 reef snorkel option.

The often have both scuba and snorkelers on board, but each has a dedicated guide

Their dock is a short cab ride from the cruise piers.

If you do book with them, consider the 3 reef trp. The 2 reef trips are to near shore reefs. They are good, but the 3 reef visits the much better off shore reefs.

They end the day with a snack stop at the Money Bar. I have a burger, tip the guide, and cab it to the ship.

 

P.S. Odd but true: Money Bar had the best hamburger I've ever enjoyed.
