Boston: Link Pass Purchase Near Cruise Terminal?

Is there a place near the Boston cruise terminal where we can purchase a daily "LinkPass"? Our cruise ends in Boston, and we're planning on spending the day sightseeing and riding the subways. Thanks!

When you get to the Silver Line station, there will be a fare machine where you can buy an all day pass.

Unfortunately there is no T station with pass machines at Black Falcon Terminal. You are going to have to have the $2.50/pp fare ready for the driver when you board the Silver Line Bus - I've seen him take a $5 bill for two people. Otherwise I think they expect exact change, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I see from another post that you are going to Downtown Crossing. I don't remember all the details of that station for getting stairless access to the street. Going northbound I think there is an exit in the middle of the platform that has a long escalator directly to the street. That is what you are looking for. Otherwise you will take a short escalator to the intermediate concourse level and be stuck there looking for the escalator that continues up to the street.

 

I understand you are going to drop your luggage off at your hotel. When you come back to the T station to ride again, that is the time to buy your day pass.
