Best place to get married on Freedom of the Seas

Hello all, My family is taking my parents on a cruise for them their 50th anniversary and they plan to renew their vows. We are all so excited. We are booked on Freedom of the Seas. Does anyone have a good suggestion on where we should have the ceremony? This is our first time cruising with Royal Caribbean so we have no idea of what the Freedom of the Seas is like.

My wife and I had our vow renewal on the Freedom in 2012. We purchased a package through RCCL. We had our vow renewal in the Chapel on the top deck and then we had a "reception" in Cloud Nine. The reception was just Champagne and Strawberries for us.

They do have the skylight chapel that is there for just that reason. Not sure if they will allow it to be done in other areas or not. If they did then I would pick the helicopter pad.

My husband & I renewed our vows privately in the chapel on our Freedom cruise last November. It was a wonderful spot. Enjoy!

Since this is purely subjective I would want either the spot on the Promenade deck (the outdoor ocean facing Promenade) that juts outwards over the ocean.

 

Second choice would be the heli-pad mentioned above.

You better check with RC first.

Not sure they will let have a ceremony anywhere you want on the ship.

On all my cruises I have never seen one take place.

So I assume they are done in the chapel.

Older ships have done it in the library..
