hotel near NY city pier

Recommended Posts

The area around the piers has very few hotels, very few restaurants and in general offers nothing that a tourist would want. There are garages, car dealerships and light industry, making the area desolate at night and the blocks creepy to walk around after dark with nothing pretty to see.

Is there a particular reason why you want to stay in that area? Unless there is, I would advise against it.

Jane, you took the words out of my mouth! I couldn't agree more.

Why waste being in such a fabulous city especially with cabs everywhere. I'd suggest staying in Midtown where there's so much to see and do and some of the best restaurants in the world.
