HMSDingy Posted April 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2014 We have booked pre & post cruise rooms at Hyatt Place 17th Street Convention Center. How does one get the free airport shuttle at FLL? Is there a courtesy phone or should we advise the hotel directly our time of arrival?
elycelynne Posted April 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2014 When I stayed there three years ago all I did was call the hotel directly after I retrieved my luggage and they picked me up at the designated spot for hotel shuttles. Waiting time might vary depending upon who else they have to get and from which terminals, but it's a pretty easy process.
croozlady Posted April 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Yes, there is a courtesy phone you can call from, but I just used my cell. It only takes a few minutes to get there, but make sure you get on the right shuttle. There are 2 Hyatts, and they are distinct shuttles and don't overlap. Check with get driver before you board. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app via my iPad, pardon the typos!
eandj Posted April 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2014 You might want to call the hotel close to your stay and see if they will have a regular scheduled van the day of your arrival. Sometimes on busy weekends, the hotels will keep a schedule so they aren't running back and forth for every couple people. You are only a 15 min or so ride from the hotel. And a cab will be only around $15. That option is one many use if the wait is too long.
