noise problems from the vista lounge music

On the Star Princess thinking of booking Emerald 718 which is above the vista lounge. Are there any problems with stage noise from music etc. Would like to hear experience from cruisers who have stayed in this cabin. Thanks for your input

We had cabin E 728 on our November cruise on the Star. That cabin is right above the stage. We could hear music on nights that they had shows (didn't have them every night, maybe 5 of the 15 nights). However, it was not a problem for us as it was usually quiet after 10:30 or 11:00 PM and we didn't go to bed until around that time or later. That being said, other people that we spoke with that were either on the starboard side or further away from the stage area (like your cabin is) said that they didn't hear anything. I suspect that you will be fine. Enjoy your cruise. :cool:

The noise really is over by 11pm. No worries!

We have stayed in E729 two times with no complaint. I have seen reports of issues but we have zero complaints.

 

We were in the room during one of the production shows and heard nothing.

No. You won't hear any noise. The 2-3 cabins on the port side furthest aft might hear music from below as they're directly above the stage but E718 is far enough away that you won't hear anything. Very, very different from E728.

Being an interior cabin E716 is a ways away from the stage/band area.

I agree no noise.

 

We have had a few different Emerald deck minis both over the stage/band area and forward near the OP's cabin and other then a low bass sound every now and then in the aft cabins we never had an issue.
