Ocruise Posted June 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2004 My husband would prefer not to bring a jacket on our next cruise. However, is a jacket required for Paolos for men? Also, do men ever wear dress shorts and a polo shirt to dinner on a 4 night Wonder cruise? Thanks for any advice, Marina 6/03 - Celebrity Horizon ~ Bermuda 7/03 - Carnival Paradise ~ West. gizfish Posted June 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2004 While the cruises on the Wonder are more casual than the Magic, Disney cleary requests no shorts or jeans in the dining rooms during dinner. I saw a few young children in shorts, but don't recall seing any adults wearing shorts at dinner time.
TheWog Posted June 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2004 I would say the same, no shorts for the adults at dinner, but you also don't need a jacket at Palo's even though it is recommended. Nice shirt and tie should be fine. ccampbell Posted June 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2004 We loved Palo's on our Halloween 03 sailing. Almost everone did have a jacket and tie. I personally would have felt out of place without mine.
